Dignity in Labour

Dear People,

Hope you had a nice day like me today.

My day was awesome. You see, Ms Q. decided to allow me to tag along to her dough mixing and dough kneading industrial machine point.

See some pix here

She bakes bread and makes pastries. Her little bakery in Legon, Ghana has been of interest to me for quite a while. My questions were answered by her without reservation. Moreover, she delights in showing me the secrets of bread making without qualms. I really admire this woman’s generosity. I saw how tedious the work is. I can only pray that God helps her to raise the money to take her business to the next ‘automated’ level. Watching her moulding  the dough into different sizes and trays made me think of many struggling businesses. I told her aboutbread slicer   on Saturnday. Today, I showed her pictures and videos of dough divider on YouTube. She was pleasantly surprised about this. I just wish I can help to move her business forward in my own little way. She has told me to help her get the bread slicer when I go to Nigeria. I surely will ask around and get one for her.

And, please, if you have an idea of where I can get it in Lagos, let me know. The information will be much appreciated.

Have a great and restful night.

Still wondering about what I’ll eat at this time of the day!

God help your daughter, please!
